Best known for his ukulele video tutorials at Hawaii’s The Ukulele Site (www.theukulelesite.com), and his popular version of “Lahaina” on the Island Style Ukulele various artist compilation, Corey Fujimoto has finally released his long awaited solo instrumental CD.

With the support from producer, Andrew Litakis, and Ko olau Ukulele and Guitars, “Fables” features Corey’s remarkable ukulele performances front and center.  In addition to the ukulele, this multi-talented musician played all the acoustic guitar and guilele parts. Accompanied by Imua Garza and Kelli Heath Cruz on bass, Elijah Oguma on drums, and Chris Chorney on cello, this studio album was engineered and mixed by Kelli Heath Cruz.  Corey’s eleven song selection includes two originals, along with the music of his favorite artists - Australia’s guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel, Final Fantasy’s Nobuo Uematsu, Korean neoclassical pop pianist Yiruma, and multiple award winning film composer, Japan’s Joe Hiraishi.  According to one itunes reviewer “Fables” is  “killahz.” If that means it’s a “must have” we totally agree.
